Here's a few things to help you get the most out of our wedding day.

The window for RSVPs has now sadly closed.
For those who are able to come, we are very much looking forward to seeing you on the 25th October. For those who aren't, then please watch this space after the event for photos and videos of our big day! We can't wait to tell you all about it when we next see you.

When and Where is the wedding?
The Wedding is on the 25th October 2025 at Rookesbury Park, a Manor house and former school near Wickham in Hampshire. It is an indoor wedding, with the ceremony taking place in the entrance hall and the breakfast in the Orangery.

Where can we stay?
Where can we stay?
We are sorry, but the accommodation at Rookesbury Park has been finalised and there are no longer any rooms available.
Accommodation is available at hotels in nearby Wickham, and there are 3 x Premier Inns within 10 miles of the venue.
Travelling to the wedding on the Friday?
If you are staying at the venue on the Friday evening, then check-in will be from 5pm on Friday the 24th October.
You are welcome to arrive before this time, however rooms may not be available until 5pm.
Staying over on the Saturday?
Check-in is available from 9am on Saturday the 25th October. Please ensure that you have checked in well in advance of the wedding, which starts at 2pm.
Just a reminder for those staying at Rookesbury:
Bathrooms and lavatories are all shared facilities - there are NO EN-SUITES on site.

How can we get to the wedding?

By Car / motorbike: Set your SatNav for PO17 6HT or use the What3Words link above.
There is plenty of parking at the venue. All we ask is that you don't block the entrance archway to the front of the building, or park in the spot reservered for the vintage buses!
Important: Rookesbury Park is a large estate and operates a One Way system. Google maps should take you to the single lodge at the front gates, however it may take you to the double lodges on the back drive. If this happens and you are heading towards Wickam, please keep driving to the crossroads, take a left after the church and then take the second turning on the left at the single lodge and up the driveway. By Public Transport: Unfortunately Wickham is not exactly blessed with transport links.
The closest station is Fareham and then it is a 30 minute ride on the Stagecoach Bus Service 69 to Winchester which links the station to The Square, Wickham, followed by a 25 minutes walk to the venue. (correct as of June 2025 - Please check with Stagecoach before travelling)

Is there a dress code?

We don't expect you to turn up in a tux / ballgown (although, you do you!!) but we would hope that people will be comfortable and smart.
Hats / fascinators - optional, but encouraged!
Serving / ex military? If you are serving / ex-military personnel and you would like to wear your medals / dress uniform to the wedding then please do so.
Oh, and ladies - Please avoid wearing burgandy. Also (and this should go without saying, but,) please don't wearing white!

We have everything we need and are grateful that you are sharing our special day however, if you really want to give us a gift, then a contribution towards our honeymoon in 2026 would be amazing.

TBC - Evening Dinner for Friday guests (depending on numbers)
Saturday:
08:00am - 10:00am - Continental breakfast for Friday night resident guests.
9:00am - Check-in opens for Guests booked to stay at Rookesbury for Saturday Night
1:30pm - 2:00pm - Day Guest arrival time
2:30pm - Ceremony
3:00pm - Drinks, Canapés and photographs
4:30pm - Wedding Breakfast
5:45pm - Speeches
7:30pm - Evening Reception & evening guest arrival time
8:00pm - Cake and first dance
Midnight - Carriages
Sunday:
08:00am - 10am - Full English breakfast for Saturday night resident guests.
11:30am - Latest Check-out.
